Our Story
TORTUGA Padel was born with a
purpose - to honour the roots of the game we love.
Padel was first played in Acapulco, Mexico in 1969,
founded by Enrique Corcuera, and it's here,
along Mexico’s sun-soaked Pacific coast, that our story begins.
A place where sport meets sea, where the Padel court stands not far from the nesting grounds of the legendary sea turtle - the Tortuga.
Inspired by both the origins of the game and
the grace, resilience and spirit of the sea turtle.
At TORTUGA, we believe sport and sustainability can move
forward together - and every piece we create is a step in that direction.
